The very first synchronization might take time depending on how heavy is your app and your internet connection. You might have the feeling that the synchronisation has frozen when it's just taking time.
That being said, it might happen that the app really freeze during the synchronisation. To prevent this from happening, make sure to keep the app on the foreground and deactivate sleep mode.
