This article takes you on a journey to discover content thumbnails, those small images that adorn your files and folders, representing your company and your industry:

1. Default or Automatically Generated Thumbnails

- Default Thumbnails

If you don't want to create your own thumbnails, either by choice or due to time constraints, we provide you with a selection of default thumbnails tailored to the content you've uploaded.

- Automatically Generated Thumbnails

For PDFs, videos, and images (PNG, JPEG), the thumbnail is automatically generated using the first image in the document:

The "Generate Thumbnail" / "Remove Thumbnail" options allow you to manage these preferences.

2. Custom Thumbnails

You have the option to customize these thumbnails with your own images. Note that each thumbnail must be uploaded manually and individually.

Here's an example 1:

We recommend creating these thumbnails with images of 340px in height on a transparent background with dimensions of 648 x 622px.

3. Dynamic Thumbnails

Dynamic Thumbnails offer two major advantages:

Save time through automatic generation

PNG format images will be generated based on the chosen model and the title of your folder or content. Here's an example:

Several basic models are available. The model is selected directly from the edit button of your folder/content > Dynamic Thumbnail: image (4).png

Notes :

If you have already customized a thumbnail, this customization will remain unchanged when creating dynamic thumbnails.
At any time, you can regenerate the thumbnail based on the default chosen model by clicking the "Remove Customization" button:

3.1. How to Apply a Dynamic Thumbnail Model

Here's how to proceed:

1/ Edit the top level of your hierarchy, from your Studio > Application > Contents:

2/ Choose the model of your choice.

The thumbnail will be automatically generated with its title for any folder or content creation:

Note that if you wish, you can change the thumbnail model by folder.

3.2. Advanced Editing

1st option : Create your own model from an existing model.

From your Studio > Customization > Dynamic Thumbnails > check the desired model > duplicate the thumbnail:

Once the model is created, it will appear under the name "Copy of the model title." Then click on the name of the model you created and customize it with your own colors.
