Depending on the device's capabilities, the app can load any standalone HTML5 content, given that it is fully compatible with the following browsers:
- Apple Safari browser for an iOS app,
- Google Chrome browser for an Android, Windows or Mac app
Of course, if you are using the Web access, it will depend on the browser.
If you are still using the legacy app, here are the browsers used:
- Apple Safari browser for an iOS app,
- Google Chrome browser for an Android app,
- Microsoft Edge browser for a Windows 10 app,
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 for a Windows 8.1 app.
All pages and contents for the standalone HTML5 content (HTML, CSS and related images, videos and so on) just need to be gathered into a single ZIP archive, with an index.html file located at the root, which will be the entry point of the HTML5 content.
The resulting ZIP file can then be added in the app just as any other kind of document.
Additional information:
- The links must be written out completely as the application does not automatically recognize roots
- Be careful not to integrate Adobe Flash contents which are not supported
