Touch & Sell allows you to connect your SharePoint account to the Studio so that you can add documents from your drive to your document tree.

When a document is modified in your Drive, it automatically synchronizes with your Touch & Sell Studio.

How Does It Work?

1. Library Configuration and Management

Simplified Connection

Go to Studio > Connectors > SharePoint, and select your SharePoint connection to start:

The connector displays all available SharePoint libraries once the connection is established. You must then check the SharePoint libraries you want to synchronize. Only the folders and contents of the libraries you have checked will be accessible from your Studio.

• • Deselection and deletion: Unchecking a library results in the immediate removal of all synchronized folders and contents from that library in your Studio.
  • Directional synchronization: Content updates are unidirectional, from SharePoint to Touch & Sell, ensuring smooth and consistent synchronization.

• Importing from Libraries and Folders

Complete import: You can synchronize an entire library.

Partial import: If you only want to import a few items (folder or document) from your SharePoint library, you just need to select them as shown:

2. Interacting with SharePoint Content

Imported Content

When you import content, folders, or libraries to your Studio, a SharePoint icon will appear next to each imported item.

SharePoint Folder

A folder synchronized with SharePoint contains only content coming from SharePoint. From the studio, adding and removing contents are blocked. From the edit button, it is possible to customize these content's information such as name, order, thumbnail, and publication. You have a direct link to view the folder in SharePoint:

Changing the Name of a Folder

• On the SharePoint side, if the name of a content is changed, it will be updated in T&S (provided the name has not been customized in T&S).
• On the T&S side, if the name of a content is changed, it will not be updated in SharePoint, but the update link of this content between SharePoint and T&S remains active.

Moving Content to Another Folder

• On the SharePoint side, even if content is moved to another folder within the same library (existing or newly created), the update link of this content between SharePoint and T&S remains active.
• On the T&S side, even if content is moved to another folder of the application, the update link of this content between SharePoint and T&S remains active. A folder downloaded from SharePoint can be moved or duplicated, but its contents (folders and contents) remain static and cannot be manipulated separately.

SharePoint Documents

Simple Document Modification

• Each document imported from SharePoint is accompanied by a SharePoint icon.
• Direct link to edit the document in SharePoint.
• Indication of the original name and the last modification date in SharePoint.

• Any content modified on the SharePoint side is updated on the T&S side. A synchronization delay of a few minutes is expected, and a synchronization on the application side must be relaunched to notice the modifications.
• On the SharePoint side, replacing a file with another deactivates the update link of this content with T&S.

Content Deletion

If content (document, folder, or library) is deleted on the SharePoint side, it will be automatically deleted on the T&S side.

Cascade Publishing

You can publish or unpublish all the elements of a tree in a single action.
