Discover the benefits of using your application at trade shows and presentations on display devices, for example.
This approach provides your prospects and clients with the opportunity to explore your products and services without having to navigate through your entire hierarchy.
To facilitate this process, simply create a specific folder titled "Trade Show" with dedicated content. These contents are designed to be presented but can also be shared.
Prerequisites for trade show presentations:
You have the ability to present your content on different operating systems: Android, Windows, or iOS. For a complete list of prerequisites, please refer to our online help article.
Here are a few recommendations to keep in mind:
- Ensure that you have sufficient memory and available storage space.
- Please note that the application is not compatible with Chrome OS.
- For an optimal experience, regularly update your operating system, web browser, and Touch & Sell application.
- For each device model, we suggest the following recommended models:
- iOS: Standard iPad (latest generation) or iPad Pro.
- Windows: Surface Pro (latest generation).
- Android: Not recommended.
Offline mode:
Professional events such as trade shows can be intense, with frequent internet connectivity issues. That's why we have included an offline functionality for your presentations (except when using URLs or web links).
All data collected while offline will be automatically sent during your next connection and application synchronization. This ensures that you won't lose any important information!
Tablet Access Control:
If you wish to use your Android tablets or iPads in a restricted manner during events or for self-service, you can utilize the "Kiosk Mode" on Android or the "Guided Access Mode" on iPad. These modes allow you to lock the device to a specific application while preventing access to other features:
Kiosk Mode on Android:
You can create a "Restricted Profile" that grants access only to a chosen application. To do this, go to "Settings," select "Users" or "Users & accounts," then choose "Add user or profile." Once the restricted profile is created, you can lock the device to the desired application using the "Pin" or "Lock this screen" option.
Guided Access Mode on iPad:
iOS offers the "Guided Access" option. To begin, go to the iPad's "Settings," enable "Screen Time" or "Guided Access," and set up the unlock code. Next, launch the application you wish to lock, press the home button three times (or the side button for iPads without a home button) to activate Guided Access. You can draw circles around areas of the screen to disable them and disable certain buttons to further restrict access.
Remember to note down the unlock code you set, as it will be necessary to exit the restricted mode once activated."
Other useful features for your trade shows:
- Easily access documents at trade shows using DeepLink QR codes.
- Collect prospect contacts at trade shows using forms.
- Loop your presentation video continuously.
Take full advantage of these features at your upcoming trade shows and provide your audience with a seamless experience.
